36 is the number of photos in a complete roll of film. One time, after going through a complete roll of freshly developed film, I was much impressed by the light and shadows in the photographs. Trees under the bright golden sun brought up reflections that were almost unreal. Illusory scenes would appear and disappear, yet often in a natural and unexpected way. I submerged myself completely in the forest. I knew that what I am capturing through the lens, is the spirit of tree branches.
